Today marks a significant transition for Mediation NI as we bid farewell to our esteemed Managing Director, Enda Young, and warmly welcome our new Interim Managing Director, John Conaghan. Enda’s tenure at Mediation NI has been transformative. His visionary leadership and unwavering dedication have shaped our organization’s journey, and we are deeply grateful for his contributions. As he embarks on his new venture, we extend our heartfelt thanks and best wishes, confident that his future endeavors will be as impactful as his time with us.

As we turn the page to a new chapter, we are thrilled to introduce John Conaghan as our Interim Managing Director. John brings with him over three decades of experience in both the Pharmaceutical Industry and the Community & Voluntary Sector. His diverse background includes strategic roles in Healthcare Development and Regional Business Management across the UK and Ireland, as well as a significant tenure at Inspire, an all-island mental health charity.John’s expertise in mental health and wellbeing services, coupled with his passion for social value and compassionate leadership, aligns perfectly with Mediation NI’s mission. His commitment to creating psychologically safe workplaces resonates deeply with our organizational values.

Beyond his professional achievements, John’s dedication to community service is evident in his roles as a school governor and his past position as Chair of the SE Belfast Scout Association. His recent appointment as a Non-Executive Director at Belfast Health & Social Care Trust further underscores his commitment to making a positive impact in Northern Ireland.As we welcome John, we look forward to leveraging his expertise in Social Value, Compassionate Leadership, and Creating Psychologically Safe Cultures in the Workplace. His leadership promises to build upon the strong foundation laid by Enda, guiding Mediation NI towards new heights in our mission to foster peace and understanding across Northern Ireland.
